The only other Australian cafe on the list is South Melbourne’s The Kettle Black, which is housed in a beautiful Colonial building. Their buttermilk fried chicken in a brioche roll with kale an Instagram favourite, as is their banana waffles with smoked maple, the avocado toast with a citrus twist and the chilli scrambled eggs with crab.

“Instagram is pivotal to small business, giving brands the potential to access the nine million Australians on the platform and 600 million users globally,” the director of InsideOut PR said. “If your market is under 30, Instagram is a primary channel. It’s cost-effective and enables brands to reach desired customers or personalities more easily.

The top 50 list was compiled by online travel content producers, Big 7 Travel, as voted by their audience of 1.5 million.
